Sales Manager Germany
UMAGE is seeking a passionate and results-driven, Germany-based Sales Manager to join our team and take responsibility for sales activities in selected regions of the German market. You will be working closely with our existing German Sales Manager, sharing the responsibility for developing and growing our brand in one of our most important markets.
This is a key position in our international sales team, where you'll be nurturing relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding UMAGE’s presence — particularly within the contract and retail segments.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing sales in your designated region of Germany
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, architects, interior designers, and dealers
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Representing UMAGE at relevant trade fairs, client meetings, and events
- Collaborating with the wider UMAGE team and your German colleague to align efforts and strategy
- Increasing market sales to existing customers and expand the network in Germany within the retail and contract segments
- Analysing market segments
- Executing business plan documents such as budgets, customer mapping, monthly reporting, etc.
- Developing and implementing an annual business plan to achieve sales targets
- Introducing new products to customers
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a strong professional network and deep understanding of the German market
- Brings proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within contract furniture, lighting or design
- Is a strong communicator – fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Is self-driven, proactive, and structured in their approach
- Thrives in a fast-paced, international work environment
- Has a genuine interest in Scandinavian design and sustainability
- Has a minimum of three years of experience from a similar position within sales of lighting and/or furniture
